Both the federal government and Salvadoran illegal alien Kilmar Abrego Garcia’s defense team have asked for a thirty-day delay in his potential release from custody.

The joint request, submitted to United States District Judge Waverly Crenshaw last week, aims to give Abrego Garcia time to weigh his legal options.
