The media played an important role in promulgating the false COVID lockdown narratives.
We were all told that COVID required us to lose our jobs, to keep our children out of school, and to stay at home indefinitely, and legacy media was quick to pounce on any and every dissident.
The New York Times was by no means an exception. The so-called paper of record established a reputation for trusting the experts and mindlessly parroting their propaganda to the public.
The outlet now claims that they were “badly misled” about the COVID crisis in recent years.
They want to save their skins.
Zeynep Tufekci, an opinion columnist at The New York Times, wrote that they were duped by the seventy-seven Nobel laureates and the thirty-one scientific societies who went out of their way to defend EcoHealth Alliance as they conducted risky coronavirus research in Wuhan.
