Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard plans to provide evidence to the Justice Department for potential criminal referrals following her recent release of documents suggesting Obama administration officials conspired against President Donald Trump after the 2016 election.
Gabbard asserted that officials manufactured an intelligence report about Russian interference specifically to undermine Trump’s legitimacy as commander-in-chief.
“There must be indictments. Those responsible, no matter how powerful they are and were at that time, no matter who was involved in creating this treasonous conspiracy against the American people, they all must be held accountable,” Gabbard said during a press briefing.
