Fifteen Democrat-led states have filed a federal lawsuit in Baltimore aiming to block the Trump administration from returning thousands of previously seized forced-reset triggers for firearms.

 

The legal challenge targets a May 16 settlement that would allow the return of devices capable of converting semiautomatic rifles to fire at rates comparable to machine guns.
