On October 14, 2020, the New York Post broke a story on the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop, opening then presidential candidate Joe Biden to charges of serious misconduct with Russian nationals.
Emails discovered on the machine exposed dealings in 2015 between Joe Biden and Russian businessman Vadym Pozharskyi seeking to exploit the Bidens’ governmental connections.
“Dear Hunter, thank you for inviting me to DC and giving an opportunity [sic] to meet your father and spent [sic] some time together. It’s realty [sic] an honor and pleasure,” the email reads according to the Post.
The Post also reported in the same 2020 article an email from May 2014 showing Pozharskyi asking Hunter for “advice on how you could use your influence” on his company’s behalf.
Furthermore, the laptop contained a raunchy video of what appears to be Hunter Biden engaging in both drug use and sexual acts along with other images of a sexual nature, according to the Post.
Twitter swiftly censored any reference to these facts and the mainstream news media refused to report on the story while both the 2020 and 2022 elections played out.
Joe Biden called the laptop revelations “Russian misinformation,” claiming that he was ignorant of his son’s Russian dealings. Big Tech and the mainstream “fake news” media turned a blind eye.
Fast forward to this week when CBS finally emerged from a remarkable two-year hibernation to admit that the New York Post’s revelation from October of 2020 was, in fact, correct!
CBS reported Monday that they have been able to confirm the authenticity of the data from the laptop - more than two years after the story first broke, and 20 months after the contents had been authenticated by other news outlets.
Twitter erupted with scorn.

The U.S. House of Representatives new Republican Majority has promised to investigate Hunter Biden's business deals. MSN reports that Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) alleged last month in a letter sent to the U.S. attorney general, FBI director, and the Delaware U.S. attorney that Hunter Biden and the president's brother James “profited from a $5 million wire from a company connected to CEFC (the Chinese Energy firm) in August of 2017.”
Republican lawmakers noted one particular email dated May 2017 that promises to be at the core of their congressional probe. The email, with the subject line, "Expectations," outlines a "provisional agreement" for "equity" connected to CEFC. Two of Hunter’s former business partners, including Tony Bobulinski, who received the email, confirmed they told CBS News that "10 held by H for the big guy?" is shorthand for 10% held by Hunter for his father - President Joe Biden. Despite the proof, the Biden family has maintained President Biden had nothing to do with and was in no way connected to Hunter’s business dealings, instead continuing to insist it is “Russian disinformation.”
According to Leo Terrell of Fox & Friends, CBS "knew about" the laptop's authenticity a long time ago, arguing they elected to deny the scandal and acknowledge its authenticity only after the 2022 midterms. "What's the motivation for CBS to have this news story on Thanksgiving week? It was after the midterms, they knew the House was taken over by House Republicans, they knew about the investigation that's coming, and they want to basically make amends," Fox News stated.
So why did CBS, who continued to deny and bury a story that was confirmed and verified by many other news outlets, have a sudden change of heart? Leo Terrell claims the acknowledgment's timing indicates Democrats are now eager to push Biden aside.
"This is where Gavin Newsom is celebrating," Terrell said. "This is where Gavin Newsom, with the help of CBS and the House Republicans, are going to show Joe Biden the door because this evidence is overwhelming…" (Gavin Newsom is widely expected to attempt to secure the Democratic nomination for the 2024 Presidential race).
