Trump revokes student visas from several hundred foreign college students

Many universities have been disrupted by protests over the conflict between Israel and Gaza, with the White House deporting some foreign students deemed to be fomenting the protests.

The administration of President Donald Trump has revoked the student visas of over 1,300 students at colleges and universities amid a crackdown on demonstrations in favor of Hamas.

 

Many universities have been disrupted by protests over the conflict between Israel and Gaza, with the White House deporting some foreign students deemed to be fomenting the protests. One new report from Inside Higher Ed found that more than 1,300 students have had their F-1 or J-1 student statuses revoked in enforcement efforts at roughly 210 colleges and universities.
